Providing the following conditions are met, you do not need to tell us of any changes to your condition:

    • Your doctor has permitted you to drive
    • You inform the DVLA of your condition
    • The DVLA have issued you with the appropriate driving licence

If you are still receiving your mobility allowance, we do not need to be made aware of changes to your care arrangements.

You may want some advice if you need to start to use adaptations to enable you to drive or travel in your car. If the change to your condition has made the car unsuitable, please speak to our Customer Services team.
