If you are finding your vehicle too expensive to run, we would advise you take time to estimate all the likely costs of alternative transport, e.g. taxis, before you consider ending your lease agreement with Motability Operations Ltd.

We have tips to help you drive in a greener, more environmentally-conscious way to help you improve fuel efficiency and reduce your fuel costs. Unless you frequently use your car to travel long distances, changing cars is unlikely to significantly impact your running costs.

You can only cancel your lease agreement if there is a valid reason, for example, if your mobility needs have changed and the car is no longer suitable. You will be asked to pay an administration fee of up to £250 and you will not be eligible for a Good Condition Bonus . Please be aware that your eligibility for the Motability Scheme may be affected if you cancel your agreement more than three times in any seven year period.

If you would like to discuss ending your agreement early, please call our Customers Services team on 0300 456 4566
