This is our way of saying thanks for looking after your vehicle.
We’ll check the condition of your car or WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle when you return it. As long as your car is in a good or very good condition, we’ll give you a GCP.
How we’ll send your payment
We'll automatically send this to you. There's no need to contact us.
The quickest way to receive this payment is by bank transfer. Just update your bank details in your Motability Scheme online account. Sign in to your account and go to 'Personal details'.
If you’ve already added your bank details, please double check these are still correct before you return your new vehicle. You can easily update these in your online account if they've changed.
Your bank transfer should arrive within five days of you returning your car or WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle. If we do not have your bank details we’ll send you a cheque instead, but this can take up to 28 days to arrive.
Waiting on an order or asked us to pay your GCP sooner?
If you’re waiting on a car or WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle you ordered before 1 October 2022, or during the COVID-19 situation you asked for your GCP to be paid before the end of your lease, you might be paid a different amount.
