It’s unlikely you’ll get a GCP
As your vehicle is not in good condition.
We expect vehicles to have some wear and tear during your lease. We take this and any damage caused by mobility aids into consideration. These things do not usually effect the GCP.
The worse condition your vehicle is in, the less likely you’ll get the payment.
Remember, to get a GCP you’ll also need to:
- Return both sets of keys and your parcel shelf
- Give your charging cable back, if you have an electric vehicle (EV)
- Hand your vehicle back with a valid MOT
- Have settled any charges, fines or unpaid recovery costs
If you owe us a balance and do not pay this, we'll take this from your Good Condition Payment.
If you have any unrepaired damage
Contact Direct Line Motability (DLM) to raise a claim for this to be repaired before you hand back your car or WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle.
Depending on how bad the condition is, we might need to contact you to talk about this.
