Get your vehicle repaired and get back on the road
As your vehicle is drivable, we recommend you try to arrange for your car to be repaired at a time when you have the least commitments.
It's best to rearrange non-essential appointments and let family, friends or carers know if you need support while your vehicle is unavailable.
If you do not need to use replacement travel, you’ll be eligible for ‘loss of use' benefits. You can speak to us once your car has been returned, to arrange this.
Need a replacement while it’s being repaired?
If you still need one, let your dealer know. They can ask for a hire car, then our RAC team will contact you to arrange this.
We'll try to give you a replacement to suit your needs, but it might not be possible to give you a specific type of vehicle.
If we cannot give you something that suits your needs, we’ll talk to you about alternatives.
