A WAV is a vehicle that has been converted so that you can stay in your wheelchair for the journey, either as a passenger or a driver.

Types of adaptations

Adaptations are available through the Motability Scheme to make your driving, or travelling, experience as comfortable as possible. Adaptations can help you drive, stow your wheelchair or scooter, or get in and out of the car.
