Motability's Annual Report and Accounts for 2008/09 were published in September 2009. The Annual Report and Accounts provide a summary of our activities and main achievements for the year as well as detailed information about the charity's financial affairs.

• 203,672 cars and 3,751 powered wheelchairs and scooters were supplied during the year.
• In September 2008, the milestone of 500,000 customers on the Scheme was marked by a handover at 10 Downing Street with the Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Gordon Brown handing over the keys to three customers.
• The number of Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles on the Scheme increased during the year from 4,317 to 5,680.
• We awarded grants totalling over £19 million to help 4,921 people with their mobility needs.
