Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
Provide a range of benefits and services for people who are ill or disabled and their carers, including the Disability Living Allowance.

Service Personnel and Veterans Agency (SPVA)
Provide pensions, welfare and support services to members of the Armed Forces and veterans, including the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement.

DVLA

National network of Disabled Living Centres that enable people to try products and equipment and get advice about what products might suit their needs.

DIAL UK
A national network of approximately 130 local disability information and advice services run by and for disabled people.

Disabled Living Foundation
National charity providing advice about mobility products for disabled people, their carers and families.

Forum of Mobility Centres
Charitable network of centres providing advice and assessments to help people achieve independent mobility as drivers, passengers and wheelchair users.

Mobilise
A member organisation that promotes the welfare and personal mobility of disabled people, drivers and non-drivers.

Mobility Aids Guide
Provides information on a wide range of products and equipment to help disabled people find the right independent living aids to help, and give comfort, around the home.

RADAR (Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation)
Disability rights campaigning organisation, produce a range of useful publications including ‘Get Motoring’ and ‘Get Mobile’.

Ricability
Independent research charity, produce a number of useful reports for disabled people, such as ‘Getting a wheelchair into a car’. 

Shopmobility
A scheme which lends wheelchairs and scooters to people with limited mobility to use whilst visiting shopping centres and leisure facilities.
