The Motability Scheme and Scottish Disability Sport
Use your qualifying mobility allowance to lease a brand-new vehicle through the Motability Scheme, with insurance, servicing and breakdown included. Choose from a car, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle), powered wheelchair or scooter.
The Motability Scheme and SDS work together to make sport more accessible in Scotland. Together we bring inclusive sport to local communities through SDS Parasport Festivals, National Championships and the 2027 National Exhibition Event, plus SDS’ training for PE teachers, coaches and volunteers.
Come and meet us at some SDS events. We’d love to see you there and tell you more about the Scheme.
