How can I check my vehicle has been taxed?

When you get your new vehicle, it will already be taxed for the first year.

If you live in Great Britain or Northern Ireland, we’ll arrange for your vehicle to be taxed each year of your lease, unless you’ve chosen to pay it privately.

You can check tax details online on the government website. You’ll need to enter the registration number and make of your vehicle. You can also call the DVLA on 0300 790 6802.
