Connected vehicles
What are connected vehicles
Some vehicles can securely share vehicle health information with us. This helps spot issues early and reduce the risk of breakdowns.
How connected vehicles help you
- Spot potential issues early
- Reduce unexpected breakdowns
- Get support sooner if something needs attention
If there’s something important, the RAC may contact you to help sort it before it becomes a bigger problem.
What we can and cannot see
We are not tracking where you go.
We only receive limited vehicle health information, such as warnings that may indicate a fault.
This information helps us support you and keep you moving.
What you need to do
If your vehicle is connected, you do not need to do anything.
Continue using your vehicle as normal.
If you notice something that does not seem right, contact us or the RAC as you usually would.
