How long is my lease and what do I do when it ends?

Leases generally run for three years from the date you got your car, or five years if you have a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle). You’ll see this date on your lease agreement.

The options available at the end of your lease are:

  • Lease another vehicle through the Scheme
  • See if you can keep your current vehicle for longer
  • Return your vehicle and have your mobility allowance reinstated
