When will my car lease agreement end?

Leases generally run for three years from the date that you took delivery of your car (or five years for new Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles), this date will be shown on your lease agreement. Three months before the end of your lease agreement we will send you a letter to remind you that it is time to choose a new car on the Scheme.

At this point, you may be entitled to extend your current lease for six months, or a further one or two years; for example if you have driven a low number of miles. You may be able to request a lease extension in the 'Current lease' section of your Motability Scheme online account. This option will be visible if you are within the last three months of your lease and have not already placed a new application.
