Car:
Most customers choose to lease a car with our all-inclusive package, including insurance, breakdown cover, servicing and maintenance.
As insurance for up to three named drivers is included, if you don’t want to drive all the time a friend, family member or carer can drive for you. Choose from a range of more than 2,000 cars from all the major manufacturers. You choose the budget that works for you, whether that’s paying less than your weekly mobility allowance, exactly the same as your allowance, or for a larger or more expensive car you can top up your allowance with a one-off Advance Payment at the start of your lease.
Car with adaptations:
All Scheme cars can be adapted to make driving or travelling easier.
If you need help with stowing your wheelchair; accessing or driving a car there are a range of adaptations designed to improve your experience. Some of our most popular driving adaptations can be fitted at no extra cost if you choose them at the same time as your new car and some access and stowage adaptations can be transferred onto your next car too.

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV):
If you condition changes we also lease WAVs which allow you to remain in your wheelchair as a passenger whilst travelling.
Scooter or powered wheelchair:
If your journeys tend to be short local trips and you would prefer to spend less of your allowance per week these might be an alternative option.
Drive from Wheelchair (DFW):
Specialist wheelchair accessible conversions that allow you to either drive directly from your wheelchair or easily transfer into a specialist seat. These are a considerably more expensive option.
Here’s a reminder of what you told us:

Our all-inclusive package includes insurance for up to three named drivers, meaning friends, family or carers can drive the car as long as it is for your benefit.
The lease package also includes breakdown cover, servicing, repairs and maintenance, tyres and windscreen repair. You can choose from a range of more than 2,000 cars from all the major manufacturers, selecting the budget that works for you. Whether that’s paying less than your weekly mobility allowance, exactly the same as your allowance, or for a larger or more expensive car you can top up your allowance with a one-off Advance Payment at the start of your lease.
Car with driving adaptations:
If you’d like to drive but didn’t think it was possible, we have lots of adaptations that may help.
This includes driving adaptations that enable you to drive using your hands or using your left foot instead of your right. Some of our most popular adaptations can be fitted at no extra cost if you choose them at the same time as your new car. And of course we have a range of adaptations to help with accessing the car and stowing your wheelchair too.

If your journeys tend to be short local trips and you would prefer to spend less of your allowance per week, these might be an alternative option.
All our standard products cost less than your weekly mobility allowance, with small scooters starting from under £15 per week. If you need a larger scooter or powered wheelchair we lease products that can travel up to 38 miles and can carry up to 35 stone in weight.

Car with adaptations:
We have a range of access adaptations that can make it much easier to transfer and our leases include insurance for up to three named drivers so you do not have to drive.
Access adaptations range from simple transfer plates, to swivel seats and person hoists that can be fitted on driver and passenger side, front or rear. We also offer a range of adaptations to help with stowing your wheelchair, plus there is a range of driving adaptations which could make driving possible where you previously thought it was not.
Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV):
If you would like to travel as a passenger without transferring out of your wheelchair, we offer over 600 WAVs with various seating positions.
WAVs generally cost more than standard cars, however some customers find it easier or more comfortable to remain in their wheelchair than transferring into a standard car seat. All WAV leases include insurance for up to three named drivers.

We also offer a range of adaptations to help make driving easier, including controls which enable you to drive using just your hands or only using your left foot.
