Your payments will start once you get your Scheme vehicle. We’ll receive these straight from your allowance provider, to make paying simple.
You cannot lease a car or WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle and a scooter or powered wheelchair at the same time because you can only have one lease on the Scheme at a time.
Your vehicle needs to be used by the disabled customer or for their benefit.
For orders placed before 1 July 2026, you can drive up to 60,000 miles over a three-year lease and 100,000 miles over a five-year lease. For orders placed on or after 1 July 2026, you can drive up to 30,000 miles over three years, or 50,000 miles over five years for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicles). If you get your allowance from Social Security Scotland, the new mileage allowance applies to orders placed on or after 1 September 2026. If you ordered before this date, you'll keep the mileage allowance that applied when you ordered.
