Advance Payments have gone up on some vehicles this quarter.
Recent UK Government tax changes and wider pressures across the automotive industry have continued to increase the cost of running the Scheme. While supply chain issues and the cost of building and maintaining vehicles have increased prices across the car industry.
We made changes to the Scheme earlier this year to respond to this, and we’re continuing to work hard to manage these costs and keep the Scheme as affordable and sustainable as possible.
When comparing costs, remember that every lease includes insurance, servicing, maintenance and breakdown cover. This means many of the costs of running your vehicle are included for the duration of your lease, helping give you more certainty about what you’ll pay.
Finding a vehicle that works for you
There’s still a wide range of affordable options this quarter, including popular SUVs like the Nissan Juke and Volkswagen T Cross.
If you’re looking for a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle), there are nearly 80 available with lower Advance Payments.
There are also a range of models available that are built here in the UK, with options from Mini, Nissan, Peugeot and Toyota. As well as WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicles converted here in the UK by one of our partners. This means your vehicle is doing more than keeping you moving. It’s supporting essential jobs, skills and businesses in the UK.

What’s included when you order a new vehicle?
When you order a new vehicle, you’ll have:
- 10,000 miles per year
- Up to six tyre replacements during your lease, including four for wear and tear. If you’re leasing a WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle, you’ll have 10 tyres during a five-year lease and up to six for damage
- A small administration fee to pay if you take your car abroad, excluding customers in Northern Ireland
If you’re looking for a car on the Scheme, 20% VAT is included in the price you see. WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicles are shown at 0% VAT, as most WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle customers will benefit from VAT relief.

*You could save around £409 based on 5,000 annual miles and charging at home on a Standard Variable Tariff at 26.32p/kWh based on Ofgem's current price cap, with an electric vehicle achieving 3.5 miles per kWh. This is compared to an equivalent petrol car achieving 50 miles per gallon with petrol at £1.73 per litre (Sept 2026 average. Source: RAC Fuel Watch). Actual savings will vary based on your individual mileage, your vehicle's efficiency, electricity and fuel prices at time of use, charging location (home versus public charging), driving conditions and style.
