What can I do if my vehicle is not getting the advertised miles per gallon (MPG)?  

The MPG for petrol and diesel vehicles is calculated by the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). You should only use this as a guide.

The real MPG is likely to be lower as it depends on things like driving habits, weather, traffic and road types. You can visit the manufacturer’s website to find out more.
