What is a manual driving check?

When you apply to lease a Motability Scheme vehicle, we’ll check the licence of each proposed driver. This is to check for endorsements or restrictions.

If we cannot check your licence, your dealer will let you know. You’ll then need to leave your permission with the DVLA for us to check your licence details.

You can do this online on the Government website or you can call the DVLA on 0300 790 6801.

Then contact us to let us know. The checks take up to 48 hours.
