    What should I do if my scooter or powered wheelchair has broken down?

    While out and about

    If you have broken down within the UK, please contact Motability Assist. If you are travelling outside of the UK, please bear in mind that your breakdown provision does not extend outside of the UK, so when you are abroad you will need to ensure you have provisions for onward travel should you break down.

    While you are at home

    If you are home and your scooter breaks down then you should just call your dealer who will be able to advise you on what the next steps are. You can easily find the contact details for your managing dealer in your Motability Scheme online account.
