Taking care of your product
You can keep your scooter or powered wheelchair in good condition by checking it regularly. This will help make a breakdown less likely. We suggest you carry out the following regular checks:
- Make sure the battery is fully charged before you set out
- Test the lights, indicators and other electrics
- Check the tyres are fully pressurised.
If you do find a fault, contact your dealer and they'll work with you to get it fixed as soon as possible.
In instances where an item is recalled by the manufacturer, please make sure you respond.
Whenever your product is not in use it must be securely locked or stored away. If you need to leave your product outside you should use the weatherproof storage cover that was supplied by your dealer as part of your lease package.
If you have any queries about maintaining your scooter or powered wheelchair, please ask your dealer.
We expect that three years of use will cause a certain amount of wear and tear to your scooter or powered wheelchair, including light scuffing and scratching, however, we would expect that when the product is returned to us at the end of the lease it is in a reasonable condition. If you experience more serious damage, such as dents, cracks and tearing, please have this repaired before you return your scooter or powered wheelchair.
