Taking your product abroad

You can take your scooter or powered wheelchair abroad within the European Union for up to 30 days in total within a 12-month period.

You will not have breakdown cover abroad or be able to visit any of our dealers.

How long can I stay abroad?

You can only take your scooter or powered wheelchair abroad for up to 30 days in total within a 12-month period.

If you're planning a trip that lasts longer than 30 days, give us a call on 0300 456 4566. There are some restrictions – make sure you look at your Insurance Cover Booklet to see what they are.


Getting repairs while you’re abroad

If you cannot wait until you get home to have your product repaired, please get it repaired locally and keep the receipt.

Contact us when you return and we might be able to reimburse your costs.


If you break down while you’re abroad

You'll need to make your own arrangements for continuing your travel if you break down outside of the UK.
