Finding a WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle that works for you
When choosing a WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle, it’s important to think about what matters most to you and anyone who travels with you. This might include how you’ll get in and out of the vehicle, the amount of space you need and where passengers will sit.
You can use our Find a vehicle tool to explore the WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicles available and narrow down your options based on the features that matter to you.
What's changed this quarter
Supply chain challenges and the rising cost of building and maintaining vehicles is continuing to increase the cost of vehicles across the industry. Recent UK Government tax changes have also increased the cost of providing the Scheme.
We’ve made changes to help manage these cost pressures and keep the Scheme as affordable and sustainable as possible.
WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle prices are shown at 0% VAT, as most customers will qualify for VAT relief. You'll need to complete a Customer Eligibility Declaration (CED) form for this. Your WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle supplier will explain how this works and help you complete the form when you order your vehicle.
