War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)

What is WPMS?

It helps you with any extra mobility costs you might have because of a disability caused by military service.

It’s provided by Veterans UK, and if you receive it, you’re eligible to join the Motability Scheme.

Can I get WPMS?

You can see if you’re eligible on the Veterans UK website(opens in a new window). Or you can call Veterans UK on 0808 1914 218.

So you know, you cannot receive WPMS if you already receive Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP).

How much can I receive?

There’s only one rate for this allowance.

When you’re searching for a vehicle, make sure you choose ‘WPMS’ as your allowance type.
