Delivery of your product

When you place your order, the dealer should be able to give you an idea of when you can expect your new scooter or powered wheelchair to be delivered.

Your mobility allowance will be held by the Department for Work and Pensions or Veterans UK one week prior to the date your dealer expects you to take delivery of your new product. We only receive your allowance after you have collected your new scooter or powered wheelchair. This allowance will be repaid to you by the DWP or Veterans UK within 6 weeks from when you take collection of your new scooter or powered wheelchair. If for any reason the delivery date is delayed, you'll get back any money owed after your new product is delivered.

Upon delivery, the dealer will take you through a full demonstration of your product, including a test drive to make sure you are confident with how to use and get the most out of your product. You’ll also need to give the dealer the PIN and the PIN Authority form that we sent to you when your order was accepted.

Your dealer will enter your PIN into our online system - this confirms your acceptance of the Contract Hire Terms and Conditions Will download a resource(PDF 233KB) (lease agreement terms and conditions).  Following this, your lease agreement with Motability Operations Ltd will be live. We’ll send you a copy of your Lease Agreement within three days of your agreement going live.

All that’s left for you to do is to start enjoying your worry-free mobility. But, while out and about, don’t forget the Scooter Highway Code .
