WAV stands for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. This means you can travel in the vehicle while seat in your wheelchair

Lease a lightweight wheelchair

These can help if you already use a wheelchair, but you’d benefit from having a second, lightweight wheelchair to use along with your car.

There are two different wheelchairs available. Both come as either self-propelled, if you want to travel independently, or attendant-controlled, if you need someone to push your wheelchair.

Both are lightweight and fold so you can transport them in your car.

You can also make some of the self-propelled wheelchairs simpler to fit in your boot by dismantling or removing the wheels, footrests or seat cushions.

Ready to order?

Speak to your dealer. They’ll order it for you at the same time as your car.

Then a specialist wheelchair dealer will contact you to make sure the wheelchair you've chosen will meet your needs.

You’ll get your wheelchair when you pick up your car. As with your car, we’ll cover any maintenance costs during your lease.

At the end of your lease, just return the wheelchair to the dealer when you give your car back.
