    Why is my car delivery delayed in 2021?

    Ongoing challenges in the motoring industry are leading to a shortage of new cars and this is expected to continue into 2022.

    Before you place an order for a vehicle on the Motability Scheme, it is worth checking with the dealership if the car you are interested in is in stock or whether it will need to be ordered from the manufacturer, which may well mean a delay. A comparable car from a different manufacturer may be available sooner.
